My kiddo loves singing along with her music. This little gadget cuts the lyrics out of the songs for her.
No microcontrollers, no coding and no special software are required. This project just requires wiring and soldering.
Also, all the parts for this project were at Radio Shack.
All parts I picked up from RadioShack
The only hassle I had was I don't have a drill so I needed to cut the holes from the project box with my Dremel.

It doesn't cut the lyrics out of everything. The Devocalizer only lowered the vocals on some of kiddo's songs but she still thinks its cool.
